My new start and countdown to retirement.

So here I go again having recovered my blog account set up many years ago to record my writing and my history of my block of flats, all that has now gone by the wayside as I fast approach my retirement next May (yippee!) and other things have gone on in my life including becoming a grandmother and deciding I definitely enjoy reading more than writing.
One thing happening right now is trying to recover my weight loss which I have put back on over the last two years due to carelessness and illness, have joined Slimming World as got very out of touch with Weight-watchers, although I lost 3st with them, their new programme really does not seem to suit me at all, and I do find they have an awful lot of products in the shops now, which are mostly unhealthy snacks and ready meals. Just started to take SW seriously now as had a couple of weeks where I had to go out a lot and ate far too much. Never mind tomorrow, or in my case, today is another day and am now planning meals better.
I shall now see if I can upload a photo of my beautiful grandson, Caleb, just gone 1yr and starting to take his first steps, bless.

About Me

Keighley, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom
I am a 61yr old woman new to this blog thing so don't really know what I'm doing yet, so bear with me if things go wrong. I am looking forward to my retirement in 2014 and spending more time with my grandson seeing more of my family and friends and being able to have time to myself to indulge in my favourite pastimes..
