No work done
No work done on my blog in recent days, however I did take some photos of the multi-storey blocks of flats in Keighley which I'll probably upload over the Xmas break. I also visited one of the ten storey blocks in town to see an old neighbour and I didn't like them. I never got into the flat as he wasn't home, but the interior of the block was very depressing. There seem to be four flats per floor, set around a very dingy corrider or landing. The lift is half the size of ours and must be as ancient, it has no window in it as we have so it's terribly claustrophobic. There are no balconies so you can't have a look out at the view or go outside, the rubbish shutes are just in the stairwell. Added to this no one in the blocks is under sixty, so you get the feeling of an old folks home about the place, our flats seem so light and airey compared. Ofcourse, the flat interiors may be very nice I hope to find out today when I deliver a card if my friend is in!
